13 Time Tony Winner

Carl has now produced or invested in over 110 productions across Broadway, national tours, London and Australia.  Approximately 2/3 of the shows have made a profit, which is well about the common cited industry-wide 20-25% profitability. It takes a village to produce a show, but Carl is proud to be on the team that resulted in these amazing productions.  He is a member of the Broadway League and on the Board of New York Stage and Film.  You can read more about his Broadway philosophy at www.BroadwayInvesting.com.

A confident cowboy competes with a surly, mysterious farmhand for the honor of taking a lovely young farm woman to a dance in a darker, modern remake of Rodgers and Hammerstein's 1943 musical.
The Band's Visit is a stage musical with music and lyrics by David Yazbek and a book by Itamar Moses, based on the 2007 Israeli film of the same name. The musical opened on Broadway at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre in November 2017, after its off-Broadway premiere at the Atlantic Theater Company in December 2016. It is a story of a random meeting of Egyptians and Israelis, resulting in a powerful message over one day of cultural unification.

Dear Evan Hansen is a musical with music and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul and a book by Steven Levenson. The musical has its origins in an incident that took place during Pasek's high school years at Friends' Central School.

Pippin is a 1972 musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and book by Roger O. Hirson. Bob Fosse, who directed the original Broadway production, also contributed to the libretto. The revival was re-imagined under a circus tent with acrobatic performers.
The play premiered on Broadway in February 1949, running for 742 performances. It is a two-act tragedy set in 1940s New York told through a montage of memories, dreams, and arguments of the protagonist Willy Loman, a travelling salesman who is disappointed with his life, and appears to be slipping into senility.
War Horse is a play based on the book of the same name by writer Michael Morpurgo, adapted for stage by Nick Stafford. Originally Morpurgo thought "they must be mad" to try to make a play from his best-selling 1982 novel; but the play was a great success. The life-size horses were produced in South Africa and were magnificently brought to life by four handlers on each.
Hair: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical is a rock musical with a book and lyrics by Gerome Ragni and James Rado and music by Galt MacDermot. The work reflects the creators' observations of the hippie counterculture and sexual revolution of the late 1960s, and several of its songs became anthems of the anti-Vietnam War peace movement. This was Carl’s favorite experience as the cast, crew, producers and everyone involved formed a bond called The Tribe who radiated the themes of the show.
